Last year, I totally forgot about it. I only remember seeing one advertisement, so perhaps more would help. But really, it's my own fault for forgetting to sign up until it was too late.

BTW, I thought Young Justice was okay to use too? Or is that out? You only mentioned the Titan teams and Outsiders...

Oh yeah, they're allowed. The poll wouldn't let me edit it in so i mentioned them above it but unfortunately that's not too prominent. :/

To be honest, I didn't participate last year because I *did* participate the year before and the constant delays and sickness excuses by the mod were really annoying. We all have real lives, and an occasional delay here and there is understandable. But the constant delays were ridiculous.

I watched last year, and it seemed to be the same case.

If a ficathon is not well run, I don't want to be part of it. I know at least two other people who didn't participate for the same reason.

None of that is going to be the case this year. Brand new. But you'll have time to keep an eye on it and decide if you think it's well run this year. That's part of why this poll is up so early.

I do think Teen Titans Go! TV should be included, too, and maybe the upcoming new Young Justice cartoon?

I'm not much interested in non-DC characters, but I wouldn't mind if they were included, as long as I didn't have to write them!

The ficathon will be run as it was for the past few years in that people will list what they can write and match-ups will be based on that, so you will only need to write something you say you can write. :)

Seconded. Teen Titans Go! is still a pretty big fandom, and even though I doubt I'd request anything from it, it might bring in a decent # of people.

And with Young Justice League around the corner (SQUEES FOREVER), that should be included when it premieres.

I don't know how I feel about non-DC characters. I could see the Young Avengers basically coming in and taking over. XD

I kept seeing the name thrown around but could never work out what it was. If I'd known I might have signed up -- though then again, I wasn't really into DC when sign-ups would've been going down, so maybe not.

It sounds like fun, though, so maybe I'll keep a better eye out this year. But yeah, advertisement would be good.

Last year was really a disaster for JBSS in many counts, so I'm making sure to make up for that this year and build it up to be the best it can be.

What might be something to make you more inclined to sign up this year?
