I have to get my Learner's Permit renewed because I still don't know how to drive. These are questions for Erica:

1. I just have to retake the test, I don't have to get another physical do I?
2. When and where did you get your ID card?
3. 
   What kind of fees, if any, am I looking at?

Got a question for you. I saw in your user info that you live in Penn. I'm working on a House fic and was wondering if House and Wilson were driving to a medical conference, would they go to NY or Penn? How far could they drive in say 3 or 4 hours?

If you don't know, that's okay. Just a shot in the dark.

Ok, these are all really good questions and a lot of my answer is guess work, but here we go: They could go to both NY and PA, as medical conferences are held all over the place at different universities, colleges, and hospitals.

Assuming they leave from Princeton and are going to NYC, the ride will be 1 hour long, 1:30 max.

If they go to Harrisburg,PA the ride will at least be 2hrs 45min- 3hrs. And then you can factor in the never-ending construction traffic that permenantly reside here. So it could be 3:30, up to 4hrs easily, depending on how much time you want the ride to be and how much construction traffic you want to torture them with.

Thanks! Yes, it was helpful. I was thinking of 2-3 hour drive, so perhaps I'll make them go to Harrisburg. The fic isn't about the conference itself, it's about getting there. :-)

How about make them go out to Pittsburg? That would be a NIIIICE long drive. There's surely some good medical college out there that I know nothing about even though I've lived in PA all my life! (Just never cared enough!)
