Jayne showers quickly, once again, not a happy man. He woke this morning and Bagoas was gone, and he knew that the boy woke in the night, and spoke to Han. Phoebe was quiet as she stared at the door in front of her. She wasn't sure why she had told Jayne, she was coming over. She didn't want him hurt. However, he had told her to come and talk to him...and with Jayne, she knew where she stood. He wouldn't tell her he loved her...and then make her feel like the worst human piiece of shit that ever lived.

She had seen the look in Piper's eyes when she had told her sister what Cole had done to her and she hoped Piper wouldn't do anything to get hurt.

She took a deep breath, and lifted her hand to knock on the door.

Phoebe looks at Jayne. "The demon guy...oh, Belthazor. So he's a demon, huh. I guess I should have known." She sighs. "I asked Piper not to do anything rash. She doesn't need to try to attack him for what he did to me."

She nods. "I'll let Spider know. He's always looking for trustworthy people."

Phoebe shakes her head. "I don't want to cause you any trouble with Sheldon, Jayne. I have this rule where I only get people I care about kicked out of their house once."

She looks down, trying to fight back the tears that she feels in her eyes again.

Phoebe looks up at Jayne and starts to shake her head, but then thinks better of it.

"I'm not up to being alone right now. Alone means I do stupid things." A tear slips down her cheek. "I am also not up to going back to the school right now."

Phoebe puts her hands on her hips and gives him a look.

"You talk just fine and there's nothing wrong with being a little bit rough. You're any kind of material that you want to be and if Bagoas says he loves you then that just provees what a great person you are."

She stops and looks at him.
