So I had a 'date' come over to the house for a while. Of course my dog was incredibly friendly but then he proceeded to barf up two piles of undigested dog food on the kitchen floor right in front of where both of us were standing.

It was one of those 'I thought this only happened in sitcoms' moments.

The Germany/Poland match blew me away.

Poland were so lucky to have it 0-0 that late in the game. Their keeper was pretty impressive, though. It was one of those games that strings you along for 90 minutes and then explodes at the end.

Needless to say, I jumped out of my seat at Neuville's stoppage time goal. Beautiful.

My friend from dive class is a 5th grade teacher... so a while ago she asked me if I would volunteer to go up to Camp Casey on Whidbey Island with several classes from her School District .  The plan would be to dive out and bring back some sea-life for the kids to play with and identify while teaching them a bit about diving in the process.
