A couple of folks expressed some interest in a story wherein the birthday-verse Dean and Sam meet up again with John. I almost had a heart attack afraid that and the baby were going to die but John finally showed up!

I loved that Dean is growing up in this side verse of the Haysack verse. The thought of him being stuck in one age breaks my heart. I'm with Sam (and this rarely happens in the show) with wanting Dean to have a normal safe life.

I love this verse so much, Em. It's one of the best in Supernatural fandom.

Oh man -took my breath away. Oh, lordy, we need more of this. Lots more. This is so wonderful. Dean and his teenage angst, but his inevitable journey to Deaness. I adore how Dean adores Mel and the baby and resents Sam. That seems so right to me.

And then John. Oh shit.

Oh man, that's awesome! I love the difficulties of Dean's new adolescence and Sam becoming a father, and the JOHN. I hope you find your groove on this again.
