So the Illinios House voted 114-1 to impeach Rod Blagojevich today. His spokesperson says Blagojevich has no plans to resign (still!). It will take 40 senators (out of the 59 state senators in Illinois) to remove him from office ( Read more... )

One of the Democratic congressmen thought that it wasn't his position to say whether Blagojevich should be removed from office.

but the problem is there isn't really any solid evidence. I was wondering why they wanted him out so bad...then I saw his hair. That's all I'm saying.

He's potentially facing jail time for a crime that's not got a ton of hard evidence (unless the FBI has recordings I don't know about). Like Kwayme he's staying in office until he's forced out to preserve his bargaining position?

My witticisms have already been taken.

1 - who was the 1 "no" vote?

2 - doesn't this guy remind you of Kwame only with bad hair?

Interesting article about the "no" vote but I gotta question the logic.
