I really loved the idea that all cadets are issued pants, tunics, and dresses, because really--who's to say that males in all cultures wear pants?

Also, Chekov in a dress? I'd pay real money to see that.

Thank you so much! My beta tried to argue that it would be illogical for Starfleet to issue dresses to men who would never wear them, but I figure, as cool as Starfleet is, it's still the military. If they decide that cultural sensitivity requires them to provide every variation of the Starfleet uniform, then that's what they'll do, regardless of the possible redundancy of that action.

And Chekov in a dress would be incredible, I quite agree.
