I tried to write about how much Howard Zinn and J.D. Salinger affected my life, but I couldn't do it. Not yet, anyway. These men were two of my all-time heroes. I will miss them immensely. I guess that's all I can say right now.

did you see today's (1/28) Democracy Now! broadcast? amy goodman spends most of the airtime on Howard Zinn, his life & works, etc. i thought it was a nice tribute and informative.
