Sigh. They were so nice to come home and re-read after a long day.

I can so see Caroline's outburst and Miranda's knowing acceptance of the whole thing.

What a delightful distraction, reason for distraction, bunch of cuteness, and hint of some 'repayment' in various forms.

I had a beagle pup. His name was Otis and he was just too adorable for words. When he was full grown he was very short, but he was the boss of all the dogs in the neighborhood. Miss that little darling.

I had two at one time. They were sweet, loving, cute, smart DEMON DOGS FROM HELL. What one didn't think of the other one did. They chewed, tore, ripped, and shredded half the house. I still miss their fuzzy little butts.

Oh yeah, we have puppy classes (sometimes referred to as puppy kindergarten). I have sort of a backstory worked out in my mind about when Patricia came to the family. The girls' father brought her home and Miranda wound up training her (with some help but she did a lot of the work). So Miranda knows her way around puppies. Miranda can do just about anything and do it well.
