This is going to be one of THOSE posts... one of the ones with whine in them.

First the excellent- Saturday was much fun, first at the "Kill It and Grill It" at DK and BE's home. Saw some people, had some good food, left on a good note.

Then! I was lucky enough to be able to arrange to have dinner with robinskij and her brother!! That was a lot of fun. I ( Read more... )

*hugs* Thank you Sweetie. :) How are YOU doing these days, pain-wise?

It depends on how I sleep and worries. Lately, thanks to some unexpected bad news, the pain levels have been pretty icky and high. But I'm trying to cope and stay positive. That always helps, staying positive. A smile and a snuggly kitty are my cure for all ills, I swear!

This is VERY true! Last time I was this bad, and at home, I had a Leo come and snuggle on the couch with me. For like a minute, but for Leo it was a big step! Then Sasha curled up with me until I had to get up. Purring is one of the best sounds ever.

*hugs* I hope you can get the body and mind to relax a bit to ease coping with the bad news.

Im sorry to hear about the migraines. It's horrible not being able to find the right medication for something that doesnt make things worse.

Lane Bryant definately has some nice items. I still hate having to shop there but at least the clothes are terribly ugly. Ive gained about the same weight over the past year and it just gets frustrating, knowing how hard it is to lose.

Do you mind if I ask why you hate to shop at Lane Bryant? Do you not like the clothes?

It's a mental / emotional thing. I was a size 10/12 for most of my life and my whole body shape changed after having a baby in addition to a weight gain. It just depresses me that it's hard to find clothes to fit that are chic and that Im having a very hard time losing weight.

I dont think people should fit into molds and that there is a "perfect size" - I just hate my own body changes.

I get frustrated because I have a rescue medication that works really well. They keep wanting me to be on preventatives that just don't work at all! As I told my mom last night, I think my brain is wired wrong. ;) She thought that very likely. *laughs*

They seem to run in cycles- ugly clothes to nice stuff.

I was a little unsure about the Right Fit thing at Lane Bryant. But then I tried on the pants and they fit pretty well.

I am sorry you're having headache issues. :(

Yeah, I was not really believing there would be a difference... but there really was. I had Yellow and Red in the same size- and red fit like a dream, but I couldn't get yellow on!

Thanks. :) I don't like having headache issues, in the past I mostly swept them under the rug and kept going, but they've gotten worse. Which makes me grumpy- I HATE, HATE having to cancel things because of my head.

Blech, blech, blech. That is just NO FUN for you. Shakes rattle of go-awayness at that migraine.

I'm having a really busy day today, so it's fine that GW is canceled. The idea for next week has lots of potential and just might work for me.

Feel better. *big hugs*
