* This was originally posted to my tumblr, but I figured I would post here as well. No idea how many of you watch Teen Wolf or would be interested in this sort of thing, but what the hell, why not?

Yeah. I've only really watched the first two episodes so far I think? Maybe not even that. I'm not particularly pressed to catch up for all the reasons you've mentioned. I love Kira and Lydia and Scott and I'd watch this show forever for them and I'm quite liking Malia too, but the rest of it is just repetitive, uninteresting and boring.

I'll be honest, if I wasn't live-watching with dream_mancer, I would have dropped the show this week. The one thing that I said might happen this season is actually happening as of this week's episode, and it's also the one thing I said would instantly drive me from the show. I will stop watching if it's permanent (don't know if you saw the ep/care about being spoiled, hence the vagueness.) Also, they are just trying too damn hard to parallel Scott's experience as alpha with Derek's.

I love the characters, which is the only thing keeping me engaged. Even the writing seems to have gone down this season. Sigh.

what the actual fuck, did they mine fanfic for ideas and then see what would stick

Hahaha, this has pretty much been the reaction of everyone I know who's seen the episode.

It's getting more and more ridiculous as the season goes on. I pretty much threw up my hands this past episode, and am now giving the show the side-eye, because said current plotline is the ONE thing I said pre-season 4 would automatically drive me to drop the show (don't know if you saw the ep or particularly care about being spoiled, hence the vagueness, lol)

I've seen all the episodes so far, but I don't care about spoilers. :-)

Apparently, the yellow eyes mean that Derek is losing his powers. I saw it coming when news started to leak out about S4, and if it happens and is permanent, I am SO done. Because no.
