I like Christmas and everything, but the end of the year always puts me in a terrible mood. Not only is there the stupid internal pressure to sum up one's year (something I am loathe to do, this year in particular), but suddenly every publication and website I frequent is beset with BEST OF 2007!!! lists, which means I have to hear more shit about ( Read more... )

You must start listening to the Current online! I promise you'll like it :-) Just ignore the fact the Arcade Fire is mentioned on their main page at the moment ... .

If you can find his record, check out Bon Iver, who is from my hometown (of origin). Pitchfork gave him a glowing review ... but don't let that deter you. I also like this "Put a Penny in the Slot" song by Fionn Regan.
