*hugs* Take your time; I know it's been a busy and rough week or two for you.

(and just because I'm in this place doesn't mean anyone else "should" be; we all have our own journeys, our own rough times and our own joys.)

Yes! ::fist-pumps::

Your quote from your own journal at the top is awesome. One thing I am really bad at is correctly understanding where I am in life, and thus love that somebody (that is, you) actually got to have a glimpse that proved true.

I like your closing quote too. The concept has been in my head, but never articulated.

Y'know, we humans have a real problem with overestimating the importance of the things we are bad at, and underestimating the importance of the things we are good at. If only we could value our talents as we have them.

HOLY CRAP YES. I think this is kind of the root and base of what I've been learning, from one angle at least. YES, YES, THIS.

You've been in the wars, haven't you? And come out the other side, hopefully...

"You might think of the spiritual as intangible reality, and of creativity as the means by which the intangible is made concrete so that you can experience it."

Oh YES. Music especially, but also other arts.
