Heh. Of course. I was supposed to go to a meeting at my church last night--and in the car, I noticed some sparkly visual aura in my left eye. Crap, here comes a migraine. I detoured by my house to grab some Excedrin before the pain hit, and attempted to drive to the meeting anyway. Yeah, that wasn't my most brilliant idea ever. I didn't even

Hey, at least I only get them a couple of times a year, instead of every week or few days like a lot of people.

#2. I swear my husband had already seen House before we watched it because he was calling all the shots before they happened (yeah, I'm jealous, that's my job.) - "That rat's gonna eat him" and "Why doesn't he just give him enough morphine to shut him up so he can work on him ( ... )

Well, that's partly because I am not an L&O nut, just an occasional viewer, plus the fact that I only caught about the last 20 minutes (Eames' kidnapping onward), and was quite lost as to the backstory (which didn't make the scene where Goren talked to the daughter any less compelling/devestating).
Also: I was still coming off my migraine, which means kind of half-watching the painfully bright moving pictures on my TV. :-)
Is it just me or has Goren gained a lot of weight?
Huh. I didn't notice the gray, but I think he has gained a bit of weight. I actually remember thinking he looked younger than I'm used to thinking he is, but that could just because he was less cool-and-collected than normal. (And omg, with very good reason!)
Oh! Eames is awesome. When she hotwired that door I totally cheered.

I was not so happy with the euthanesia thing. But I did have sympathy for the pain.
The House-Cuddy thing is kind of funny.
I have a feeling that the teenager will be back in the February sweeps which should be a month before her supposed 18 birthday. I'm just saying that would be a typical raitings stunt.

In real life, I object to most cases of euthanesia. But the way it played out here, it was more about Cameron having the courage to stand up for her own convictions than about whether helping someone commit suicide actually equals murder.
And did you notice that Cameron was in the chapel when House found her? She keeps saying she's an atheist. I keep thinking, well, we'll see how long that lasts.

Well, according to the preview she'll be back next week. So I guess we shall see.
