God, me, too; as much as I liked the angsty stuff they did with Beckett in the finale, the show would sink if they weighted it down too much. Plus, there's a whole meta discussion in my head about what she would show versus what she shouldn't...

This was excellent and I too woulld like to see a scene like it in the 1st ep.
This really conveyed the slap in the face she gets from first seeing him. And then the miniscule moment it shows on her face before she's composed again, because she's NOT going to let anyone see that!
