I loved, absolutely loved this chapter. for a second there I thought Jake was going to tell her he imprinted on her in some weird delayed imprinting style. lol. but this was just awesome. great job!

Thank you so much. It was hard to work this around so that it was about imprinting but about defying it at the same time. So, we will see where it ends up.

Okay, I almost had a stroke. I thought Bella had imprinted on Mike! Then Embry and Sam, jeez I feel like I just ran a marathon :) Great chapter!!!

I know, I know, it's so complicated, but no one has imprinted on anyone (except Sam/Emily), and Jake and Bella are trying desperately to keep it from happening to them, so Jake, with the knowledge he got from Sam, after he did his research with the elders and studied wolves, gave him the answer that was inside of all of them all the time. *clear as mud* :') Anyway, I hope it gets a little more understandable as we go.
