I woke up at 9:30am today. I slept in. At this time folks at the King Solomon Church had already been working for an hour and a half. I ate breakfast and got there probably around 10am or a little after. I was given a dust mask and into the dungeon I went.

I think veganism can mean different things to different people, and many different people become a vegan for many different reason. In fact I know a man who owns a few very large and fancy steak houses in the Ann Arbor area and he is a vegan. When I first became vegan this blew my mind. How can you own a steak house and be vegan

I appreciate your response (and paul's as well!) considering how ranty my arguement was. It just is hard to wrap your mind around what veganism is when there are the "diet" vegans vs. the "lifestyle" vegans and there is even grey area in there ("freeganism", honey, silk...). On one hand, being an elitist vegan is pointless and I would be stupid to think that you and Paul have no compassion for animals at all, but a line needs to be drawn at some point ya know?
I guess this would be a better in person conversation to have, but I figured if I didn't call you and Paul out, it would simply sound like I was trying to be sneaky about it. The whole post wasn't about the two of you, really only one sentence or so was, but I wanted to differentiate that if that makes sense.

The diet isn't hard, but this part of being vegan is.
