I think it's a one time thing; I spent nearly all of my Saturday on the 6.01 icons. I won't be doing that weekly but it was fun to try to be timely with my icons rather than 6 months behind everyone else. Hugs and love to you, too, bb. ♥

You already made season 6 SPN icons! Wow, you're fast :)
14 is my favourite - great coloring and good choice of cap - I love Azazel's evil grin.
41-44 are my favourite Castiel icons (41-42 are epic). I love coloring on 46-47 - bright & natural. 51 is great too - I'm not a big Adam fan but I like him on this icon! :)

Awesome job with 56-60. When I saw this iconfest prompt I really wanted to make some icons but I quickly gave up. Too bright photos. I prefer to work with dark caps than with bright ones ;)

I'm also a big fan of 72-73. I love when you use negative space - doesn't matter if you use texture or solid color. You rock with negative space! :D

I assure you that this is an aberration! I'm normally a half season to more behind everyone else when it comes to making icons. I wanted to be timely for once and see what it felt like.

Azazel is such a pleasure to icon. It was tough choosing just one cap; he made good use of his screen time. I can't claim to be an especial Adam fan but it was an Iconfest request and I hadn't iconned him much.

OMG - those outdoor shots are *killer*! The too bright was only the first hurdle. I am with you: give me those dark caps, please. Sunlight = odd light angles, blown out details, and ugly backgrounds (power lines, e.g.). If I'd had more time to make them, I'd have tried to find something other than boring cloud textures for them. I don't have a lot of outdoorsy textures on hand so I'd need to do some Google work and well, no time.

re: negative space -- Awww, thank you. :D

I would LOVE to do an icon battle with you, even if my stuff will look like middling stuff next to yours. I look forward to it.

There's no hurry :) I was thinking about making 20 icons but I could do more/less - it's up to you. If we make 20 icons I'll need at least 2 weeks to complete my set. The more time the better ;)
And what fandoms... If you're not tired of making SPN icons maybe we could celebrate season 6 with SPN icon battle? :)
We could do other fandoms as well - let me know what you think! :)

Your terms sound good to me! (Especially since I just remembered I have family in town this week. Doh!) I think 20 Supernatural icons to celebrate Season 6 sounds like an excellent plan. Since we don't have to hurry, do you want to take the week assemble caps and we each bring ten caps to the table next Sunday?

I think two weeks is agreeable; if you'd rather have more time, I'm good with that, too. This should be fun! I'm so excited. :D
