Got some new books to read because the last book I read was like a month ago when I re-read Anne of Green Gables. So I have to read some new updated stuff.
one can never have enough chick-lit to cloud one's brain with false idealistic dreams of Mr. Perfect Ha! I think I just loved you in a completely different (non-obsession-that-shall-not-be-named) way! ;)

Is there any other reason to read chick lit? I love chick lit. The girl always gets the guy, heh.
I had no idea, you loved the Shopaholic books too. They are so awesome. They are Blair Waldorf awesome! I just love Becky and give a Luke anytime, any place. What did you think of the movie? I liked it as a movie separate from the books. There were just WAY too many things, I loved about the book which I didn't see in the movie. Like Luke. (Love Hugh Dancy really, but as Luke? I don't think so. I could sooner see him as a dorky Tarquin.)
IKR? Plus, in chick lit, the guys always exceeds your expectations. He's always rich/gorgeous/awesome in some way, and he always loves the girl. It's like modern versions of fairytales really.
Ugh, I know. I can accept Isla as Becky (except, I always think of her as blonde. Come on, what were they going to do with book 5 and the red-haired bitch?) but not Hugh as Luke.
Oh, you haven't seen it yet? Honestly, it's a very funny movie. You should see it. Just don't think of it as an adaption of the books. Think of it as a movie where the characters share the same names as in the books. (Yes, it is that remote from the books).

I'm totally with you, Hugh is not Luke ever. I have not seen it yet because I'm still hurt, you know? Just because I loved the books SO much.
