I think not even killing Lilith but being strong enough supposedly changes his soul - based on what Ruby and Cas said. From Ruby's story, that's what Lucifer's first was, right? Oh, wait.... Sam kills Lilith and becomes Lucifer's first. Uhm....Ok, now I'm worried.
Jared....there are not enough words in English language to describe how incredible Jared was in this episode. Holy crap. The boy deserves to get some big roles once he's done with the show. No doubts about it.
Ok, now I'm giving myself a headache. At first I thought Sam would just be the final seal. But I guess, now I'm back to Lilith dying being the final seal. But then would that make Sam Ruby's first? Since she managed to turn human into a demon? and what would that make her then? Besides the fact that I think Dean should really gut her like a fish with her own knife.
Oh, yes, if anybody ever dares to say that Jensen is a better actor than Jared ever again, I'll punch them. Jensen's damn good, I'm not taking anything away from him. But Jared deserves some major props for everything he's done this season and especially in this episode.

Remember when I said I would talk to her to see if she'd change a few *ahem* things about the episode before it aired? And you know how I said that I'd show her some pictures in order to convince her? And you know that thing where too much Jared can melt a fangirl's brain? Yeah.. Hehe. Oops. I'm guessing that's why she never got around to changing anything. *headdesks*
SAM IS THE FINAL SEAL. DUDE. I'M SURE IT'S GOING TO END UP BEING LIKE THAT! Something was sooo off with Ruby, I'm sure she was lying her ass off about having to kill Lilith to end the apocalypse. Ruby seemed almost TOO willing to help all of a sudden and I'm sure killing Lilith IS NOT going to end anything, and that actually, the last seal DOES have something to do with Lucy's first... but it won't be about killing her. if anything, I'm saying that killing her IS the final seal and Ruby's just egging that on.
How could you?!?!?! We could have had a shirtless Sammy. *grumbles*
As for Sam and last seal and Lilith and Ruby - I've thought so much about it all of this in circles that I gave myself a headache. So I think I'll just stop trying to figure it out and wait until thursday.
*is ashamed* Guess I shouldn't have shown her the 'chicken stuffed with fried rice' picture... That might have been a little too much persuading on my part...
Her character irks me sooo much only because I cannot figure her out! For TWO seasons now!! Although I'm keeping to the fact that she's evil. I have a feeling in my gut and I'm sticking to it till the finale (or... whenever she'll be revealed as good or bad).
