Somehow Inuyasha and Sesshomaru decide to go on a very long trip they travel all across China and India. They end up meeting with another demon who thinks he is saving all the half demons from full demons by locking them away in a palace in the desert.
Also it is Inu/ Sess.
I also seem to recall this is maybe the second story of a trilogy.
