Okay, so I'm planning to do this project ( http://www.designsponge.com/2010/01/diy-project-hidden-jewelry-box.html ) and the plan is to use an art print as the photo. My room is blue and green, and the only other art I have up is a canvas

My favorites were Moon by Alphonse Mucha Art Print Poster and 1902 CARRIAGE SEALERS JOURNAL PHILADELPHIA EXPOSITION BY ALPHONSE MUCHA LARGE VINTAGE POSTER REPRO.

As for other suggestions, have you considered any Klint's - particularly the gold heavy ones? I think they were be lovely and quite fitting for a jewellery box.

Ohh, what about etsy? You could probably find some vtg prints and paintings there.
