am no longer bonspieling on the weekend, which equal equal parts regret and relief.  It would have been poor timing for me in so many ways.

am playing tech-person this week.  Buttons, prepare to be pressed!

have finally seen Hot Fuzz.  :)

I was so puzzled by the statement I didn't really respond. I mean, I like Ron, but I've never glanced in the mirror and gone, "Whoah, Ronald!"

I've been using the 'Create poll' button in rich text (yes, I know you probably have the html memorized but I am not that smrt!) and every thing looks fine except for the 'Submit poll' button being grayed out. Is it because of using the rich text, do you think?

And yeah, I was slightly thrown.

ah, yeah. you can't do that. :) there's a poll wizard in the rich text editor that does work, though -- it's an icon with little red and black lines that says "livejournal poll" when you hover over it, and that should work fine in the rich text thingy.
