I made the mistake of trying to read this in the library. I soon realized I would have to go somewhere else, because this is hysterical.

I would also like to congratulate you on the fact that even though I don't know French, the meaning of what was conveyed got through to me.

I also live with a French roommate and am surrounded by them a lot - I have to say that your characterization of Brian is so very, VERY French. It's dead on.

And now I shall read part deux...

Oh... this is so very adorable. I am loving it! And the French parts - Brian - are wonderful!

Oh, this is so good. I think I've already read it but hell, one more time won't hurt, will it?
The characterizations (especially Johnny) are spot-on, very well-done and histerical. Being French myself (and I do have to point out that we are not this horrible and blasé, thank you very much, Johnny), the mistakes made me laugh - besides, your knowledge of French (not really common among American people -but maybe you're not American-, I reckon) is very good. (I just have to say, though, noone says 'bonté divine' anymore. It's really old-fashioned. Though it is part of Stéphane's dorky charm, isn't it?).
Anyway, very good story, and really hysterical too. Some things ('the urge to reply in Gaga lyrics', Johnny's thoughts about 'the French', 'the Italian', Johnny's overall 'mauvaise foi'...) had me on the floor laughing.
Now everyone thinks I'm crazy, thanks to you : )
Off to part two then, and bravo, this is a really great story! Wish there were more of them out there!
(And, well, please excuse my mistakes, as I said, I'm French.)
