My friend's brother was in a very bad motorcycle accident on Saturday August 29th. His right arm was severed in the accident, and attempts to reattach were unsuccessful. Wedding is being pushed back to January-ish...so that I can have the wedding I want. He surprised me with a very pretty shiny while I was visiting him this last weekend.

They released Mom from the hosptial Wednesday afternoon. I'm not entirely sure she should have come home...and the nurse and the lab people say she still needs to be in the hospital because of how bad the infection still is. But Dr. Yamanishi seems to think she will be fine at home...Anyways, thanks for the prayers/good thoughts for Mom. They're ( Read more... )

After spending 14 hours in the ER Saturday, they admitted mom to the hospital and she went in for emergency surgery yesterday morning. She's had some pretty bad complications (that could have been worse) from the surgery she had on Thursday. Need prayers and good thoughts for her...and for me (that I won't lose my sanity and won't have a breakdown
