That blog made an interesting point. Here we are, angry at people who come, albeit illegally, into this country and actively seek employment, people who contribute to our economy and society as a whole and help themselves. Then, there's a white homeless man, who spends his time begging for money while there are programs designed to help him, yet he does absolutely nothing to help himself and contribute. Tsk, tsk.

And thanks, Gurlene. I drove to work this morning beaming as I realized I'm now one of the huddled masses filling the freeway on my way to the city center. That, and my once 45-60 minute commute one way is now 20 minutes one way.
