A Note on Leap Year 2008 and it's Affects on Game Time 2002
Well, after two years, it has finally happened.
Leap year has caught up with us.
While we, in 2008, will be enjoying an extra day of February tomorrow, our characters in 2002 will be expecting March 1st. Alas, it seems we will no longer be strictly in sync datewise. This will require some adjustments on our parts:
-- Tomorrow, February 29th in real time, will be Friday March 1st in game time.
-- Saturday, March 1st in real time, will be Saturday March 1st in game time.
-- We will continue to post on the same date as we have been. So, threads posted on March 2, 2008 will take place on March 2, 2002 in game time.
-- Because we will technically be a day off (i.e. Sunday being March 2, 2008, but March 3, 2002) we will suspend our disbelief and pretend the days still match up, that March 2, 2002 is a Sunday, for example.
Things are bound to be a bit confusing for the next couple weeks as we all adjust to the calendars being out of sync. No worries. We won't hold it against you if things are a little weird. ;-)
