Most fevers are contagious. You spend time near someone with a fever and the next thing you know you have it too. I was like this with most illnesses, but not with the kind of fever that grabs fans of a product or sport. That is, not until the Red Sox fever grabbed me

Ballgames live are so much more fun. It's hard to be a huge fan of anything without the social aspect of it, I think.

I would like some fried dough and a hot dog STAT.

That is one thing the new Twin's stadium really tried to do well on - the food. My hubby went to one game last year and he had (what he called and still calls) "The best steak sandwich I have ever eaten. I had 2 and could have gone back for a 3rd."

I totally understand. :) I'm not a football fan at all but being in band and ROTC I had to attend many games. Being there life was always very different from watching it on tv. :)
