Not all of it. He did part of the security at my place, and I've got tech of my own. I can't make an Iron Man suit, but we're not out of the game yet.

I think more people are gone, too, but Nepeta-san and me were still getting a head count.

[Eight minutes later, there's a gust of wind from the ground level above and the sound of someone punching in the pass code to the door. The security cameras show a dark head walking in and taking the stairs down into the lab.

When she appears in the glass partition that separates the stairs from the rest of the underground lab she...stops. The shop was so empty.

Stepping in, she instantly pulls out her PORTAL and takes the battery out, tossing it into a plastic case that used to hold data cards for the gaming system back at the clinic. A small box that she was holding goes on the deks and the battery goes beside it, the phone goes into her pocket again.]

I suggest you do the same.

[ Easier said than done, considering her PORTAL is an MP3 player, but Rebecca nods and pulls it out. A quick dream-up of a screwdriver and some fiddling, and she's pulling the battery out, tucking her MP3 player away and shoving the battery into one of Tony's drawers. ]

I really need to find someone with magic communication experience to take a look at these.
