Oooh! To be hoenst, with all the other crap I've been doing I forgot I sent you a book, so don't worry about not letting me know you got it. But I can't tell you how exceedingly happy it makes me to know that you are enjoying a book that was homeless.

It's about 80 here too. I just got done laying out a little, but there were no clouds at all, and I thought I was dying! LOL. I'll go back out here in a bit.

I was really surprised when that bit of info popped into my mail.

1. I'm really slacking off on my reading, but I'm in the middle of Water for Elephants, and it's pretty interesting so far.

2. It's a glorious day in L.A. Thanks for asking. :)

3. Yup! It was the first thing I saw on my friends page today!

I've heard great things about Water For Elephants though I've not read it, you'll have to let me know how it is.

Isn't it always a glorious day in L.A.?

Of course! My book list will be updated when I finish it. So far, it's not as great as I expected. I'd heard such marvelous things about it, and it's not entirely grabbing me.

L.A. is Sunshine City so yeah, it's pretty much always glorious. :P

LOVED Water for Elephants! I'm not a fan of circuses (circii?) but this book captured me and didn't let me go. It gets better and better as you go along.

1. I just finished 'the future homemakers of America' this morning, I love that book, read it about 10 times now. Also nearly finished 'the master and Margarita'
2. It's a bit stuffy, overcast and muggy. I think I still have a temperature though!
3. no, I didn't, but then I'm not very local

I've never heard of The Future Homemakers of America . What is it about?

The only reason I knew about the Fire thing is because I have signed up for Yahoo Alerts. So headlines (and just the headlines) get sent to my email. Most times I just read them and then delete them, but it's kinda cool to have the news come right to you.

God...I'm lazy!

it's about 5 US air force wives posted in England in the 1950s, and the next 40 years of their friendships. give it a whirl, see what you think

1.The reading's going good. I just started The Host by Stephenie Meyer and I'm really enjoying it.

2. Yes but not so much since I'm not a fan of the heat or cold. I'll just stay in the basement until it goes away.

3. No I didn't hear about the fire but I don't watch the news since it's just too depressing so a lot of stuff just passes me by. I did hear the other day or could be week by now that a guy in the next Harry Potter movie got stabbed and killed but it was on Yahoo which is why I saw it.

Wait...Harry Potter gets stabbed, or the actor that plays Harry potter was stabbed?

I would think that if Daniel Radcliffe was stabbed and killed it would get more press since he plays the starring role. No it was some dude whose name I don't know that played Marcus. I'm blanking on a Marcus so I'd have to read the book again.

LOL, I just got done reading about that in my Entertianment Weekly! After reading the little blurb I went "Oh! I get it now!" Right out loud.

Bar fight apparently, he was trying to stop it and got stabbed. That's ad.

1. I am reading Bram Stoker's Dracula. I am liking it. I would have had it done by now, but I got side-tracked by short children's books and work.

2. It's warm and sunny and I despise it. I like overcast days.

3. No, I didn't hear about that fire.

Is Dracula dry?

I can't stand overcast days. I mean they are great if it's raining, but if it's just...darkish all day, it drives me crazy.
