signed the petition. those bastards make me so angry...everything about it seems to make me so angry. i also joined the community though...right now i don't think i will look much through it. everything heath related still makes me cry so easily. it is stupid, isn't it? i wasn't even a totally huge fan of him...but i love his movies and i liked him very much as well. reading the letters from his family and everything here on LJ makes me even more sad...

i wasn't a devoted fan either, but i loved all the movies i saw him in. he had this incedible talent that is not usual to most actors of his generation. when i heard about that on the tv i was so stunned i could barely breath properly... and the fact that i was in a place where few knew me well (was at the house of my brohter's family) made me hold all the tears inside, which was even worse, you know?

now i had my share of tears, although i know there'll be more to come. i totally understand why you cry: this was a man that didn't deserve to go so early. the moment i heard the news an interview he gave on oprah came to my head... that one where the people from bbm was there, you know? he seemed so happy with his wife, all smiles, even in his usual quiet self.

it breaks my heart, really. i hope he's in peace.

i know exactly what you mean *hugs* oh yes...i can barely look at pictures of him without crying. he was such a nice guy, not one of those stupid hollywood boys. he seemed down to earth, nice, and just happy that he could do a job he loved. though with the sleeping problems and everything he surely had his problems these past months... thinking that now he won't even be able to attend the premiere of his last movie almost makes me cry again. and the letters from his family...they show that he really was a wonderful person, no matter what all the stupid people try to make him look like now.
he had so many things still to come, it isn't fair that he had to leave so early....

You know what's the weirdest thing? One or two days before the news I went to the cinema to watch "I Am Legend" and the only trailer to show up was from the next "Batman" movie coming up. I saw him as the Joker and I said it to the people that went with me "Isn't he perfect as the new Joker? I know I'll absolutely love him in this movie!", and I was so excited for it, so happy to see him onscreen again, and then I heard the news and it just caught me completrly off-guard... =/

I've heard people are saying a lot of shit about him right now... that he was a drug addicted and all that stuff, and isn't it unbeliveable to see how cruel people can be? Especially at a time like this? I mean, how can they do something like that?? *cries*

About those letters, I haven't seen them... where did you read them?

I feel really sad about what's happening to Heath. I mean this people say that they will go to his funeral and that he is going to hell for portraying a gay man on a movie, but by doing that IMO they are not showing the most religious values either; if they really had a problem with him they should have said something while he was alive and not just going to perturb his funeral, which is such a sacred moment and knowing that his family and friends are going through a great loss, that in my opinion is even worst that what they claim Heath haD done. Heath was just doing his job, he was acting!! besides if they really are as religious as they say they are they should know that one of the main ideas of religion is to love the people around us respecting their way of thinking... not to hate and be so unhuman. IMO this is just a way to get promotion and the press to give more attention to them, not a religious matter.

I agree with you. Somehow I get the feeling that the best way to stop them would be to quiet them down. I don't know -- I don't know the extent of these anti-gay actions.

Sometimes I feel like that too. They seem to enjoy to spread the hate, not the love, and that? Is the most unreligious things ever.

I still don't quite believe in what happened. Really. =/

And you're welcome. Thought I rather post a pic of him smiling than a serious one, since that's how I wanna remember him: smiling.

Stuff like that is just ridiculous. And probably one of the reasons why I'm not religious. One less thing to abuse for whatever sick visions some people have.

Rest in peace, Heath. ♥
