May 31, 2012 10:36

I have so many shows I should be catching up on but I thought bugger it, let's watch new stuff! My buddy deej pointed me in the direction of a new show called Continuum last evening and here are some of my thoughts on it.

Also there will be spoilers, beware.

Yessss, a recap post!

Also, there is a cop and I like him too because I've seen him before in Charmed.
LOL. A lot of people in this show are apparently quite recognisable, and just lol, Charmed.

+ I really did not like Keira's son. She did not look old enough to have a son that age plus for some reason that kid's face really annoyed me.
UGH I KNOW. I think his strange emotionless, stillness and blandness is what freaked me out. Also, "Are the baddies coming?"? A kid his age shouldn't still be asking black and white questions like that, is he simple?

+ What was Alec's step-dad and his buddies up to? It seemed nefarious.
Totally set up for Alec to have to choose between good (Kiera) and bad (his ~nefarious~ family)!

Yeah, looking forward to next week's ep. Apparently they show the first 2 eps together over 2 weeks, so it should keep the pace up.

Woo! I think I will do these, I like analysing things :D

Heey I liked Charmed!

He just seemed really odd you know? I got the 'OMG the kid is an alien' vibe from him.

Choose Keira!!

Yay! I was kinda hoping someone on my flist/twitter list to watch this show. I think I might give it a try, especially after seeing the ratings.

I liked the show too and I love Victor Webster and Rachel Nichols, although I have to say that when she found out that she was trapped I was expecting her to have a more human reaction and she was just flat...
I liked the premise of the show though and I think we havent seen the last of Tony Amendola! :)

She's a funny thing, in some scenes like at the start when that building blew up I thought she was a tad emotionless and I thought maybe she was just raised that way? But you see her in other scenes where her eyes are all sort of glazed where it looks like she's about to cry and ugh she breaks my heart with her cute little face.

Yeah it's not like she doesn't have the range but sometimes I want her to be more expressive dammit! lol
