I saw a few promos, looks exciting! Haha, I don't think I can quite manage it because I'm such a nut for Da Vinci's work that I'd like look for him just drawing things and inventing crazy shit as the only things he does on the show, which I assume is not really the show? XD

The first season was only 8 eps and just when I was really getting into it, it came to an end. It started it's second season last Sat. but on a cable channel I don't get. Starz was carrying the first season reruns.

It shows him doing the drawings as well as applying it to make his inventions. It also shows stuff about the politics of the time and that he was sought after by many factions because of his inventions. There are spies and religious zealots from the Vatican trying to take over Florence where he resides. It's really not a bad show and season 2 he is supposed to be on a quest to find his origins and his mom who belonged to a secret society wrapped in magic and other secret stuff. I bought the first season DVD's and I guess if Starz doesn't show the second season I will buy it from Amazon to watch.

Haha, well, I'm super excited that she's Maleficent. It's been a while since I got to see her on the big screen.

Yeah, I love Martha's writing and the Ile-Rien trilogy is fun. I love how interesting and fleshed out all her characters are, not just the male ones as happens too often. And will do! The Lady of Devices series looks very intriguing.

Angie as you've never seen her. devifemme March 27 2014, 01:49:49 UTC
If you enjoy Angie, check out Original Sin, also starring Antonio Banderas. The 2001 film is on various cable channels these days; it's a cool remake of the 1969 François Truffaut film Mississippi Mermaid, set in 19th-century Cuba. It's among her MOST erotic flicks -- she's naked and really enjoying Antonio in bed. (Sorry, Brad!)

Though a lesbian, myself, I still liked watching her flout the conventions. A lot of fun.

Oh, and a happy birthday, sweetie!

I think there are very few Angelina Jolie movies I haven't yet watched by now :) I did like that one quite a bit!

And thank you for the birthday wishes!
