Great minds think alike, clearly :D I like the sequels, but Anne of Green Gables will always hold the highest place in my heart, maybe followed by Anne of Avonlea.
I love those too, I was just more in the mood to read the later ones for some reason--I think because I got some kudos that reminded me of skimming through both of those books last year for Yuletide. :)

And I've been mining Gutenberg for all of the free books I love :D I might go in and see if Amazon has better formatting for the kindle versions of a few of them, the gutenberg ones have too many pages of legalities at the end for some.
Haha. I remember me thinking why on earth I would ever need an e-reader. And now look at me. I currently hold that opinion about smartphones, so obviously, in about a year or so, I'll be lusting after a smartphone XD
