Yes. I think it's the mix of day away from work coupled with the sense of "thank goodness I don't have to be outside in that!". With the added bonus of snow being really really pretty.

Heh, yeah. Especially in a city where there are always areas that aren't that nice looking. Snow always makes it all look beautiful. I just went and took some more pictures, and there was a guy on skis going down my street!
