There is a downside to overdecorating at Christmas. It takes bloody forever to take everything down. The tree has to be cut in order to get it out of the house and into the car for ethical disposal. We are now sort of half tinselly, half normal, hopefully it will be finished by the end of today

What's up with work, besides the New year blues? I thought your restructuring had finished.

Restructuring is done but it's left me feeling lonely and isolated. There's no-one in my office that does the same job as me now. I feel like decisions are being taken elsewhere and I'm always the last to know. Plus, New Year Blues.

If no-one else does the same job, then they won't know what you're not doing. Enjoy!
Make sure you keep telling them how hard it is though...

The first week back is always hard. I am sorry you were so depressed. I always seem to get post-Christmas depression, although, admittedly it wasn't so bad this time around. I think it was because I didn't look forward to Christmas at all.
I am so behind on drunken!giles too. Yikes!
M2 went fantastically, but then you know how I feel about that series. I'll probably keep bugging you for a mid year installment. ;)

Maybe we'll pick a up-curve at the same time? *hugs*

I'm lucky, going back to work means I get to see all my animals. If I had to go back and deal with an office full of people it would be a very bad thing. Things are exciting at the zoo. We have two new bobcats, and two new snakes (Both a bit aggressive, but we'll deal), and a tarantula! All very exciting.
Things will get better. Get working on the Drunken!Giles. Getting the Watcher drunk always cheers me up. Plus, it's been lean pickins so far. And If you're still considering the same prompt, you're the only one that can do it justice.

I'm procrastinating on the Drunken prompt. I think I'm looking at the pre-series one that Brutti did. Just not as slashy.
