Ok, I'm trying to figure out the new LJ cuts.... hope this works

I finally found the cord for my camera & was able to transfer pics onto the computer. The first few are of mehendi - the tradiional henna artwork done on my hands in a Delhi marketplace by two brothers, who charged me the whooping sum of Rs.50 ($1) to do this wonderful art.

Fred's too lazy.
He'd just lead the bull around and advertise the fuel as "Fresh!"

nooo! it doesn't work when 'fresh' - it needs to be dried first - in little cakes on the side of ones mud hut with thatched roof! I'd love to take FF with me to India & see his take on it. He is NOT allowed to seduce the cows, though - It might be the cause of the first Indo-American war.

Yanno, I would so like to do some work with someone wearing henna. And these of mehendi are excellent!

how about immediately after I return from India this year? It lasts about 2-3 weeks, but is at its strongest the first week

When are you going? Also, see same question from Skippy (fatfred) above. Similar reasons.

The mehendi is gorgeous!

Wow, between the cost of waxing and hennaing, India is a true beauty bargain! Too bad the plane tickets there are so expensive...

Heh. I got that done once, during my last trip. Have you told your friends how long it takes to dry? *evil grin* I accidently cracked some of mine off in a few places because I just couldn't stay that still! I wonder if I got any pictures of it...I'll have to look! :)

It is beautiful. *tears*
