sorry for coming back late! this was a pleasant read! i love the tension between them, casually making fun of each other and returning snarky remarks that perhaps would come off offensive if they weren't as close. their in-between relationship, as you worded it, is actually better than some lovers because they can be more open and truer to themselves. i hope you'll write more this year! i've missed reading your works :)

late is better than never! and I just like that dynamic to their relationship so much. I like to imagine that maybe they'll just call it a day and get together properly though
Hopefully I'll be writing more this year! It's been a struggle to find inspiration through fandom the traditional way what with all the crazy news that's gone down.

buahaha omg i love the casual tension between the two. i love relationships that are on the cusp between just friends and romantic partners - although it's not that fun for those actually involved ;_; /cue angst

you have such a way of painting the scene so it plays out so nicely in my head. wow. i missed gongstal too! hehehee

in-between relationships are the best though - it's so exciting! But yes not very fun for those involved (unless they seem to treat it lightly like this time haha)
