Location: Near the Ramen Shop (WHERE ELSE?!) Time: Before Naruto starts his wind chakra training. What happens: Haseo comes to Konoha, but he isn't Naruto's Haseo....
Haseo stopped, looking at the blond in curiosity. Well, at least he was right about not having amnesia. Which meant that he did last see people in Discedo, and he had last spoken to his friends, Prydain and Umi. This was good news...
So at least he hadn't hit his head hard enough to cause nearly as much damage as it had when he got a concussion from a rock to the skull. He laughed weakly.
"Looks like they did put me in the wrong place." He stated.
Haseo continued to pace, growing dizzy as he did so. His head was pounding heavily, but he couldn't stop trying to explain the situation to himself.
"So they assholes tried to bring me home...lost their sense of direction, forgot where I was going, tried to bring me back to Japan and "The World", failed at that, and now I'm stuck here...Hah. And I still have no fucking clue what that is.Haseo continued to mumble in to himself, stumbling in a circle in response to the throbbing and spinning sensation in his head. The room began to spin, and he placed a hand to his forehead, laughing
( ... )
"Haseo!" Naruto's eyes went wide as Haseo fell for a second time.
He half-dived, half fell in an attempt to catch Haseo before he hit the ground, and was marginally successful at it. Enough that Haseo didn't hit his head again, at least.
It was starting to sound like Haseo's memory had been wiped of his time in Eden, and instead he had been thrown into another place. This could still be his Haseo... but he wasn't his anymore. Knowing that hurt, but at least there was an explanation that Naruto could figure out for this. Which was saying something!
He was worried, though. Haseo was talking to himself and weirdly and couldn't stand properly. Did he really hit his head that hard?
"H-Hey, you should take it easy for a bit..." Naruto laughed weakly.
Haseo was forced back into the blond's grip, but was in too much pain to fight it. Besides...he didn't appear too dangerous for now. The room was spinning too much for him to attempt to move, either, so there really was no choice in the matter.
He covered his eyes, relaxing in the young man's arms and taking a deep breath.
"I should..." He agreed, "-And it looks like I've got no where to go at this point..."
He sighed, figuring that was the best to assume for now, so he could avoid another episode like that.
"You must know me...from another world...like what Discedo had done." He suggested, not having to think too much to make that assumption.
"Y-Yeah, I do," Naruto answered quietly. "I met a Haseo back in Eden. We got... close. Really close, and he was going to come home with me."
Naruto wanted to stop himself, but he couldn't. His voice had a mind of its own.
"But when I got back home, he wasn't with me. All I had was my memories of him." Naruto hung his head a little for a moment before raising it again to smile at Haseo. "B-But I'm just glad to see a Haseo again! Even if you don't know me--I'm Uzumaki Naruto, by the way--it's just good to see his face again, you know?"
He laughed nervously. Now he couldn't stop talking. Shit. But if he stopped talking, he might start crying. This wasn't his Haseo. His Haseo was still gone...!
"Y-You can stay with me, though! I'll sleep on the floor and you can have the bed. And I won't try anything with you, promise!" Naruto laughed, trying to smile--but Naruto could feel the smile breaking along the edges.
Haseo was listening to everything this Naruto had to say, but he couldn't quite focus on it perfectly. His head was still foggy. Though, what he did pick up made him feel a little off...a little bad.
His eyes opened to look at the blurred blond above him. The suggestion of him taking the bed while its owner slept on the floor was stupid. He scoffed as he shook his head weakly.
"I'll take the floor..."
Haseo made an attempt to sit up, not feeling so sick anymore. A weak smile formed on his face.
"Just my luck..."
He looked over to Naruto, nodding at his introduction. There was no point in introducing himself, since he obviously already knew his name. He felt strange about imposing on staying here, but he had no choice, really.
"No way, you're the injured guy! And a guest! I--" Naruto stopped for a moment, then made a face. "Maybe I can buy a cot. You shouldn't be on the floor, and I could use one anyways!"
In case anyone stayed over. Which was never. But hey, he'd be prepared if anyone did! Which was the important thing, right? And who knew how long Haseo would be staying. Haseo needed somewhere to sleep.
Even if this Haseo wasn't his Haseo, he was still a Haseo.
"Uhm, and don't worry about punching me! I have a hard stomach, so I'll be good!" Naruto laughed nervously. "Really!"
