1 - FROTHY PIKACHU FTW! 2- Jewish Halloween? When Halloween gets awesome stories of women empowerment and triangle-shaped cookez, we'll talk.
HAHA Doctor Who took up a whole creepy 5 by itself! LOLS! And all your answers are totally true, but Blink would top my list by far. I shriek whenever I watch that one.
But the gas masks! The gas masks!
Hmmmm...I think I have Battle Royale somewhere around her. Worth a re-read, but I DO NOT HAVE TIME.
The Neo scene in Matrix makes me go D: every time. (It's also the thing I think of whenever I read a TW fic where something is in someone. ::shudder::)
WOODY'S HEAD SHOULD NOT TURN. THAT IS NOT OK.
(Don't worry, you can watch Glee a day late on Hulu with me! Just, y'know, avoid the internet for a day...)
2. Honestly, "Jewish Halloween" is just the easiest way to describe Purim.
My original list was 1a, 1b, 2a, 2b, 3a and I *still* needed to include the Midnight monster and gas mask children so I decided to do 5 for Doctor Who and 5 for Battle Royale + other.
Blink was hyped up too much for me, and since I'd already seen ToA/FaS where they were all ERASED FROM TIME HA HA it made it less scary. But the Vashta friggin Nerada will never stop making me shit brix.
Actually it's because of the cyanide poisoning in Battle Royale that makes the Supernatural scene so triggering for me. REREAD IT ANYWAYS.
I know about watching Glee later, I'm just upset I won't be able to watch it on a "big" screen :(
2. Yeah, I guess. But the only thing they share is the costumes (and sort of the candy) otherwise they are totally different. Pagan day of the dead vs. "WE'RE NOT KILLED PARTIEZ!"
See, all I knew about Blink before I watched it was that you recommended we not see it at night. Which, of course, WE DID ANYWAY.
It was a good idea to give Who it's own section. (BEHIND THE COUCH EVERYBODY - DOCTOR WHO IS COMING ON)
The Vashta Narada - super freaky scary. Their name just roooolls off the tongue, though.
(Still have to watch Supernatural. I will! One day!)
::pats on shoulder:: Don't worry about Glee. You'll still be able to get the important stuff - the singing! TIME WARP!
Sorry for the late reply!iceshadeOctober 26 2010, 16:13:32 UTC
OMG THAT SCENE WAS SO TRIGGERING FOR ME. I think part of it was because it's very similar to a scene in Battle Royale that creeped me the fuck out, but yeah.
Actually it wasn't him being in the jungle that creeped me out, it was the act of him getting sucked into the game board, because for me, that was where the movie ended. I have no idea if I assumed he died or was just literally trapped in that magic 8-ball type thing in the center of the board, but for at least 10 years until I actually was forced to watch the rest of the movie, that scene would give me nightmares. And I never knew what happened to him until then.
::hugs::
LULZ. I actually have had my NaNo account for longer than my lj (which is probably why the profile still looks like it was written by a 15-year old, because it was), but I whine about it here too XD
1a. OMFR. I KNOW RIGHT? How much more scary can it be? You can't defeat them, you can't escape them if they catch onto you, you can't see them. You're screwed like whoa. And you never know if that shadow is a shadow or if it's gonna eat 'cha.
3a. That was a pretty scary part, you're right there. The realization as to what they all were? Yeah.
4a. I can never watch that part. I'm serious!
5a. WHY IS THIS LAST ON YOUR LIST? IT'S THE FIRST ON MINE. I MEAN JEEZY CREEZY! IT'S SCARY AS FUCK.
BONUS a. Yes. Exactly. I agree.
1b. Yes. I used to both love and hate that movie. Love because it's a good movie and hate because it's freakin' scary.
3b. Oh, I know right? That is pretty scary.
5b. I KNOW RIGHT? SO SCARY.
BONUS b. I KNOW RIGHT? IT'S MORE THAN 'SO SCARY'. WTF DISNEY? WTF?
I wanna do my own version of this. Yay! Hopefully I'll have my list done soonish.
ETA: OH. POOR ICESHADE! *pets* if you need a link to watch it at later, tell me I can get get you one. Or y'know. Hulu.
MY LATENT FEAR OF THE DARK WILL NEVER GO AWAY NOW. CURSE YOU STEVEN MOFFAT.
5a. Because for me, the scariest part is that they never really explain what it is, not what it did. Also, David Tennant being completely frozen turns me on too much for some reason, so it kind of detracts from the scary.
5b. THERE WAS NO PURPOSE FOR THAT SCENE OTER THAN HIGH OCTANE NIGHTMARE FUEL. NONE. FUCKING NIGHTMARES.
Yeah, I'll probably watch it on hulu tomorrow or something, but NO BIG SCREEN. :(

5a. S'true. They don't explain what it is and that's not cool.
Also. XD ILU and your apparently kinky ways.
