Oh, now see, I need to read more of this. I love it. It feels true to Jack's reaction to losing Ianto.

Happy Passover, and I'll be watching when you get a chance to post. ♥

I think that Jack went to a really dark place, and I didn't want to forget about Stephen, but I think he *missed* Ianto more. Thank you.

Happy holidays to you too <3

I'm with Temp on this... I want more. I think this is a great start to a really dark story. I'd love to see the actions that go with these feelings and memories. There's some delicious stuff here!

Happy holidays, save us some nummies! :)

Thank you.
I'm thinking of doing a darker, redux version of this fic once I'm done with reelTW (and my last lucky7 fic, hahaha) where I get to go into more detail of what Jack actually did between leaving Earth, pimpmaster!10 and getting meeting 11. Actually, that was my original attempt at this, but it was turning out to be too complicated for me to finish in time. Le sigh. but for now, the sequel is up! :D

Also, happy birthday! ::hugshugshugs:: <3

See, this is how I see Jack acting after Ianto's death. Great job. Can't wait for the sequel.

You read this... even though it has a thrace level 1... ::wibbles:: I think I need a moment to compose myself.
::wipes away a tear::
Thank you so much~ <3

also, icon love. Sue is the most awesome thing ever.

I did...because it was Jack getting some revenge on...and I'm all about that. It was Jack NOT being his normal flirty self and yeah, I'm all about that. I WANT to know that he's grieving that Ianto's death affected him.

Awww, *HUGS* Besides, did you see my entry for Wrath? Yeah, it was all about Jack getting some payback for Ianto and Stephen.

And yeah, I love Sue :)

I loved your entry for wrath. Jack needed to lay the smackdown on the Doctor (or something, IDEK). The sequel is now up :)

Sue FTW.

I really liked that you made Jack numb after Ianto and Stephen's deaths, that you didn't have him fucking his way through the pain. I also think that once he got back up in the stars and far away from earth and the influence Ianto had had on him that he would have reverted to his old ways. So I loved this! I also HATED pimp!Doctor in EoT - throwing a shag at Jack as if that would help. It was a shallow and meaningless gesture and showed no knowledge or care of the man Jack had become or of the pain he'd experienced.

I'm looking forward to part two. :)

Thank you very much. <3 I really don't think Jack would have gone back to fucking his way through everything, at least not right away, which is probably why that scene in EoT2 pissed me off so much and made me squee a little (because it's obvious that Jack was still grieving, but the Doctor/RTD thought a cute piece of ass could make him get over it). I think that Jack almost reverted as a subtle f-you to the Doctor. "If that's how he's going to expect me to act, then..."

pimpmaster!10 made me want to reach through the screen and choke a bitch. No lie. (and I'm going to leave it at that before I start ranting about it again ::breathes::) And part 2 is now up. :D

This was most excellent. I think you really got the emotion down (the emptiness that is). You wrote it brilliantly. I think this is how it went (or should have). Also, I agree with remuslives23. I alos hate the pimp!Doctor for throwing a shag at Jack. That wouldn't help.

:DDDDD thank you. I was really afraid that I wasn't writing Jack consistent enough. My theories on how the aftermath of the bar scene went are this or (what I had originally intended but ran out of time to do) something much darker. Like bloodplay, BDSM, pissed-off-as-all-hell-Jack, triggerrific darker. I reeeeally want to write that redux at some point.

like I said to remuslives23: pimpmaster!10 made me want to reach through the screen and choke a bitch. No lie. (and I'm going to leave it at that before I start ranting about it again ::breathes::)
the sequel is up now

Gonna read ze sequel in a moment. But I do have a COE!Fix-it idea and when I write it they'll be props to you because I think this fic made me go 'oh, I can. yes'. So, yay! But it seems like it'll be a long story and I don't want to post any WIPs. So, yeah. If I never finish it you won't get the props as it won't be posted. And I'm gonna stop rambling now.

I very much liked this. Despite my utter denial of all that is CoE! Jack getting over it and moving on isn't going to happen, not in my view of Jack, anyway, and this felt quite possible as a pathway for him to take.

To me it read like a beginning to something more, and I'm very eager to read the sequel.

Thank you. I wasn't sure if I had really been consistent with his character, but I knew that he couldn't just move on, so I'm glad.

Yeah, I originally wrote this with the intention of making it a fix it, but couldn't fit it all in in time, so I split it and made the second part Ianto-centric. I think I actually unconsciously may have had that icon in my head as I wrote the second part (which is now up).
