This is not my area of expertise, so I'm quite unsure of what to do. My youngest brother was is was the first of us three siblings to be in a relationship. Tamsin's the only one of us who's ever been in a real, long-term relationship (she's had three so far), and the second one ended in a similar way. It survived Tamsin going away to college, but not, interestingly, her boyfriend eventually going away to his own (he was younger than her). She's extremely private about her relationships, so we didn't really do anything, and only passively knew they'd broken up via Facebook. I dunno how open your brother is with the rest of you about his--though I'm guessing more so, since you know about the Christmas heartbreak. (I can't believe she took the gifts anyway!!)

But I feel like he'd appreciate a gift basket--that's really thoughtful. And if you can't be at school with him, then maybe that's the next best thing. I say go for it? <3

My siblingship with Nick is still only so casual. Everyone knows I'm more partial to one brother over the other -w-"" but I try. There's just some innate feeling, like I need to side with my brother and support him in this sort of situation, even if all I can do is 1) badmouth the other person, and 2) keep his mind off this small bump in life.

My mom says food is the solution to everything. Good thing we're headed to Costco tomorrow.
