Paperwork permitting

So, last week I did the paperwork & fingerprint thing to get my firearms permit & a pistol purchase permit. And I was kind of counting on the legendary tardiness of the powers that be to decide on what to buy. However, I've gotten some info suggesting that I might have the permit a tad earlier than expected.

The consensus at work seems to lean Glock

well you still have to at least wait until I finish filling out my form and put it in the mail tonight.

You mean you didn't always want a Glock? I know thats what I'd want if I got one.

Well, I figure that's not a bad choice. I plan on trying out one or two at a place that does rentals first, of course. But however many police depts can't be all wrong :)
