okay so it figures that I've been working on a metric fuckton of Supernatural fic, and the one thing I finish first I started yesterday and happens to be DC Comics. I mean, I don't even really read DC. (Well, I do now, but this is a really new development.)

Aw.... Wow, I never even thought of that possible explanation for where Rip might have come from. I mean, I'd thought maybe there was a one-night stand involved, but it really hadn't occurred to me that Booster might not have acknowledged or raised Rip. Huh.

I'm pretty convinced that Booster would freak the fuck out when presented with a kid, and then, well, it wouldn't be safe for that kid to go time-traveling or superheroing with Booster, and I really can't see Booster settling down and raising a kid. Especially not on his own. And that's giving him the benefit of the doubt; it's just as likely that he backpedaled, paid alimony, and stayed the fuck away.
