Canon got crazy and confusing. Er, more so than usual. We don't get too many scenes like this one anymore. But I'm very glad you think so. I haven't written much Holic fic for a while.

Gen is my favourite not that you'd know it from my writing, of course and I really enjoyed writing this. I think Holic fandom needs way more family fic. They are the most adorable surrogate family ever and NO ONE WRITES ABOUT IT EVER.

I'm actually really tempted to write one where they're all actually related, completely gen, and see how fandom takes it.
