Title: Red, blue, green.
Fandom: Iron Man/Avengers movieverse
Rating/Warnings: PG-13 (?)
Words: 910
Summary: Tony saves the things they say.
Notes: This is sort of a warm-up to another fic I'm working on. Similar themes, but much different execution. Also, totally making up movieverse Avengers dynamics.

Ooh, I like this a lot. I especially like the engineer vs. biologist discussion, and of course the whole theme of recordings. I look forward to your other fic!

Thank you! It's actually something I've noticed among a lot of my friends and family who are engineers and biologists (or other sorts of -ists, actually) -- scientists talk about their work and what they're credited with, engineers talk about their product and how it works. It was fun to be able to use that in writing.

This is a lovely little set of character pieces - I especially like that we don't get to know what Cap said, or Jan. And bloody Thor, he's probably got a ballad about dying.

Thanks! Thor definitely has a ballad about dying, and when he got to the fifth verse Tony decided that while being sober had been a nice idea, he really either needed coffee or alcohol for this, and the liquor cabinet was closer than the coffee maker.

I have a pretty good idea of what Jan said, and a few too many thoughts about what Cap said -- but I think other people would, too, and in cases like that I like to leave it up to the reader to come to their own conclusions.

I love this a lot, especially the way you've written Tony. Absolutely looking forward the rest of the kinda sequel.

Thanks so much! Tony's really fun to write for me, and I think that might show, in terms of practice writing him if nothing else.

I like the character dynamics you've set up, and Tony being dysfunctional. I look forward to the longer fic.

Thanks so much! Tony being dysfunctional is one of my favourite things to write, and the movies make it so, so easy to do. :D
