Fanning out

I went to the Small Press Expo in Bethesda, Maryland, this past weekend, and it was full of ups and downs. The ups came primarily from seeing thousands of people in varying stages of dress (nerd, goth, goth-nerd, hipster, hipster-nerd, etc...) mingling and talking and having a good time together. Well sunavabitch! If I'da known you were going to be there, I would've gone myself! I went to SPX 2007 and got sick, other than that its pretty much just like you described in the first paragraph. Did you get to see the Boston Comics Roundtable table?

I did, actually. If I remember correctly, they were close enough to the Questionable content table that I was run over by a lot of young, hipster-geek girls vying for free sketches from Pantera, so it was tough to talk to anyone. Either that or I saw them in my post-rejection fugue and forgot where to find them afterward. It was kind of a clusterfuck.
