Oh the weather outside is frightful

Actually it's very pretty out.

We got 2' on top of 4".  It's amazing.

The snowfall is winding down, but the wind will still be high (about 30mph) until this afternoon, so drifts & blowing snow are still likely.  Some drifts are 6-10' tall.

The poor doggies couldn't/wouldn't go out potty this morning cause it was so

I was hoping your electricity would hold up through the night. You all got a lot of snow from the looks of it.

Yeah, there are some people who lost power, but other than some flashes of outages, we're okay.

The sun is nice & bright right now, so maybe it'll melt a bit of this.

Yikes! Look at that. I need to check in with my family and see how they're doing. I was there for the other two record Chicago snowfalls (1967 and 1978). I'm kind of bummed I missed this one.

Be careful! Bundle up and don't fall.

We had that major storm in Cleveland 77-78, too. I was caught in the middle of it as a paper delivery girl.

We didn't get a paper today, though! LOL Lazy ass delivery people. (snicker)

It looks cold! I'm glad you're okay, HL. You know, a lot of dogs enjoy the snow. It's like people. I want to avoid it!
