Oh this was lovely! Awesome how she totally knew who was there beside her even before Becker asked how lester was doing.

And the comment about Lester's daughter and Jess totally made sense. It's like it should totally be cannon in my head!

Sometimes you just know who is there.

In my head Lester is about the same age as my Dad, and thus has a daughter roughly my age (19 is only 6 months out XD) so it totally fits in head canon. Cause she would have been about 15 around the time he mentioned taking the mammoth home, and I know at 15 I would have loved a mammoth.

This is PERFECT! Everyone was in character.
I loved Jess. The opening was brilliant, you captured her emotions so well!
And her refusing to leave Lester was so touching.
"He's like a father to me"- I cried at that line! :')
And the fact that Becker knew about their father/daughter relationship was so adorable.
Becker being comforting needs to be in more fics! *swoon*
And, of course, the kiss! *squee*
And the Lester sarcasm! *snicker*
The ending was so cute! Don't be arguing with Jess xD
