Sorry to hear you're going through a rough patch mate. Maybe this is a good time to have a think about what you want in life (making your parents proud isn't anywhere near as important as making yourself proud) and then looking at how you can achieve that. Hell, from what I hear, you've already started with the creative writing seminars you've been to.
